A digital first brand refresh for the pioneers of craft brewing.

Firestone Walker is a brewery located on the central coast of California. With three restaurants and a state of the art brewery, Firestone Walker has a long established name in the industry.

Working closely with the Firestone Walker team, ANML modernized the brand’s visual language while creating an experience that showcases lifestyle and supports the unique stories of each product.

A lifestyle-forward approach

The Firestone Walker website is about more than just beer. Because an unforgettable experience is born from impactful moments, ANML curated solid product imagery and stunning lifestyle photography, pairing it with delightfully timed animations for a truly unique, interactive experience.

Surfacing the spirit of a brand

Storytelling is incredibly important in showcasing a brand. ANML designed and dedicated a section of the site to house Firestone Walker’s episodic lifestyle film series. The “Stories” tab also features the blog we built from scratch, and a page featuring Firestone Walker’s brand ambassadors who embody the adventurer spirit at its core. The story continues on the “About Us” page, where we bring the brand’s California heritage to life, featuring its commitment to sustainability, with dialogue from the founders and head brewmaster himself.

A visual platform built for scalability

ANML crafted a flexible platform with a variety of sub-brands in mind. Every featured beer has its own distinct persona, and we worked through the challenge to capture them all in the best light possible, resulting in a rewardingly intuitive interface and simplified reading experience.
