The OrthoFX Doctor Portal is essential to providers' daily workflows, but years of updates introduced friction, confusion, and extra steps. OrthoFX partnered with ANML to streamline the experience, reduce cognitive load, and realign core flows around clinical priorities and business goals. The redesigned portal is intuitive, efficient, and built on a scalable system that supports future growth.
User insights showed clinicians expect workflows that match familiar industry tools. Mixed clinical and operational views and constant context switching slowed adoption. ANML streamlined navigation, clarified tab intent, and grouped tasks logically to reduce cognitive load and keep key actions easy to access for both Orthodontists and GPs.
Forms were long, repetitive, and offered little guidance. Providers often re-entered known information or faced unclear requirements. ANML redesigned these flows with dynamic logic, clearer validation, and guided actions that streamline the workflow. The updated experience moves faster and supports both new and experienced staff.
OrthoFX needed design parity with category leaders while expressing its own perspective. ANML built a component-based UI kit and polished visual system for the Doctor Portal. The system boosts consistency, speeds development, and ensures new features integrate cleanly as the product evolves.
