Helping families find balance

Family life moves fast. Between schedules, screens, and daily responsibilities, it is easy to lose sight of connection. Umi, an AI family wellness app within the PanasonicWell ecosystem, was created to help bring that balance back. As a digital wellness coach, it supports healthier habits for parents and kids through personalized, science-backed guidance. To grow its reach, the brand needed a cohesive system that could carry its calm, inviting presence across every touchpoint.

ANML supported both product and go-to-market efforts while keeping the focus on mindful family wellness and connection. The visual language uses warm, soft colors, rounded forms, uplifting imagery, open space, and gentle motion to reflect balance in everyday family life. Together, these elements create a unified experience across product, marketing, and in-person moments.

A symbol of family, connection, and flow

ANML animated Umi’s logo to reinforce the brand’s focus on balance, trust, and care. Three soft pebble shapes move together to form the wordmark, echoing the way family members support one another. The flexible logo system adapts across size, color, format, and medium while staying clear and recognizable.

Designing a site for an AI family wellness coach

We created a welcoming site that introduces Umi as an AI wellness coach for modern families. The experience guides visitors through core features, real benefits, testimonials, and expert insight that build trust. By evolving existing components, we defined a clear structure and simple storytelling that help parents quickly understand what Umi is, how it works, and why they can rely on it as a family wellness app.

Extending the wellness brand across channels

ANML extended Umi’s brand into email campaigns, social content, and app store previews using a shared visual system. Consistent typography, color, iconography, and motion connect every touchpoint back to the product. Each asset reinforces Umi’s mission and helps the brand feel like something families can confidently welcome into their homes.

Telling the story through a family lens

For the app store, we highlighted Umi’s core capabilities and how they fit into real family routines. Simplified screen compositions keep the focus on moments that support daily wellness, habit building, and connection. We paired the product with relatable family photography so the story speaks directly to parents looking for practical support for their family’s wellbeing.

Showing Umi’s AI wellness coach in everyday moments

To introduce Umi to more families, we created a short video that follows a day in the life of a busy household using the app. The story shows how the AI coach supports wellness goals in real moments, from morning routines to bedtime. Soft, playful motion and gentle transitions extend the core visual language and help the product feel approachable and easy to use.
